dmsp is Filamama's reference client: a command line on DMSP, the protocol the phones speak. Its results come as JSON, so scripts can read them.
dmsp pair '<qr payload json>' --name NAME [--platform PLATFORM] [--state DIR]
dmsp pair --server ORIGIN --code CODE --name NAME [--safety-code CODE] [--platform PLATFORM] [--state DIR]
dmsp backup <folder> [--limit-rate BYTES_PER_SECOND] [--state DIR]
dmsp changes <changes.json> [--state DIR]
dmsp status [--state DIR]
- pair pairs with the QR code's content, or with the server's address and the code. Paired by code, it asks you to confirm the safety code the server presents, or takes it with
--safety-code. - backup backs up a folder, with the same checks as a phone: only what the server doesn't have is sent.
- status asks the paired server what it supports and says how many uploads are still under way.
- changes sends changes, such as favourites and folder moves, described in a JSON file.
Its state is kept in ~/.dmsp unless --state says otherwise.
The installer builds it with the server, as dist/client/main.js in the Filamama folder.
