Today, each library is its owner's alone. Sharing between people and shared albums are planned, with search, people and faces, a map and memories.
What works today:
- Downloads. Anyone can download a photo or video from their own library and send it the way they like.
- One server for the household. Everyone backs up to the same computer, each into their own library.
- Folders and drives are one account's each; a drive shared by the household waits for sharing. See Folders and drives.
Filamama has no public links: the server answers on the home network, and nothing goes out to the internet. See Home network only.
